Thomas spends his days acquiring new projects, working with local municipalities, and overseeing all development work. His vision and leadership prepare us to look forward to our next big thing so the rest of us can stay busy with our day to day work.

Sarah spends her days managing all financial aspects of the company. Her accounting skills and attention to detail keep our office and field teams prepared to take on new projects and keep our development and individual builds running effectively. 

Dwayne spends his days managing and supervising each home we build, as well as the entire construction operation as a whole. His commitment to building quality homes and establishing effective partnerships helps ensure that we will be able to continue our work in each of our communities into the future.

Callie is the link between our office and field activities. She understands what our customers are expecting and is aware of the field work being done each day. She focuses on ensuring that we are delivering what we said we would and communicating with our customers to ensure building their semi-custom house is a good experience.

Jacob spends his days designing and estimating new projects for clients. Jacob is able to produce 3D drawings that give our clients a detailed look at their new home, even before we begin construction. His thorough work with clients in the pre-construction phase of our process ensures that we are all on the same page  throughout the build. 

Elsie spends her days taking care of office-related responsibilities of Oaktree Builders. While projects are progressing out in the field, she works on the behind-the-scenes details such as keeping the bills paid.

Chase spends his days managing the various job sites, coordinating all finishing activities and work being done. His focus is on ensuring that each home is built to meet the high quality standards expected by Oaktree Builders. He works hard to be sure that each and every project is ready for move in day. 

Simon spends his days operating machines to dig trenches, prep homesites, dig out footers, grade lawns, and a plethora of other tasks. His safe operation of equipment allows us to closely monitor all excavation work in house, rather than hiring it out. Simon typically has a special focus on digging foundations for each of our homes.

Josh typically has a special focus on grading lots and lawns for each of our homes. 

KK Homes of Long and Foster Real Estate is the local premier team in the area. They have tremendous experience in the real estate market and are our exclusive partners in the home building and selling process. We welcome your Real Estate representative, but if you need one, we have professionals to cover the contract writing aspects of the process. KK Homes are always available to you as an extension of us.

Larry Roes was a founding member of Oaktree Builders in 2003 and dedicated his work life to creating a new home construction company that he was proud of. His main emphasis was to create meaningful work for individuals in the construction industry. Many of the Trade Partners we have today have been working with Larry and/or Oaktree Builders since the early days, and that is something we are proud of. Larry valued relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, banking partners, real estate professionals, county/city officials and customers, many of these folks becoming friends that he deeply cared for. He demanded a lot of everyone who worked with him and for him, he tried to treat people with respect and dignity in the midst of getting stuff done.

He spent a lot of time praying for Oaktree Builders and all the lives that the company touched; his family often found him in his easy chair at home in the early mornings (and many hours of the night when he could not sleep) with his bible in his lap, spending time understanding God’s mission for his life and praying that he would be a good steward of the resources he was given.

Larry was killed in a tragic accident in June 2024. His loss is still felt immensely, but as we continue operating this company, we are grateful for the days, months and years we had to work with our father, boss and business partner. We learned a lot from him, there was still more he had to teach us, but we pray for the same wisdom he had and know he would be proud of the work Oaktree Builders continues to complete.
